❊ A lot has changed, what's next?
The past two weeks have been a little hectic and stressful - a lot has changed for all of us because of the circumstances we are at, with our own health conditions and breakdown of our vision of the future, a.k.a. given that we are not having our senior exhibitions and commencement, as well as the coming recession which affects our job applications. Everything is on limbo right now, and it's tough for everyone. Regardless, we have to make it through and find a way to accommodate that.
I have been hoping to still be able to build a physical space for people to experience my project at some point, yet with the condition of my broken ankle and the extension of the shelter in place order till early May, I figured that I have to make a plan B, unfortunately.
What will happen to our exhibitions? I don't really know. Potentially will be conducted online, which will be a great time to shift the format and rethink about the interactivity of my project - if it is not going to be a physical exhibition as what I imagined, a website would work too. I just need to be able to code and make it work.
I am a bit lost and wanted to start to build something. I started an Xd prototype that shows the questions that participants will be asked, and ideally, they will be talking to the "device" to interact, which involves some coding. However, if it is on a website, I will have to find another way to engage them since the original idea of having a physical SPACE like memory palace fell through.
I wanted to talk to people about these challenges I have at the moment:
How to engage participants in an alternative way? (potentially a web page) How will be the interactivity be changed? What will be the reward for participants?
